Ander Herrera looking for Manchester United turnaround this week
Ander Herrera is looking for Manchester United to turn their fortunes around with an important week at Old Trafford.
CSKA Moscow are in town on Tuesday in a crucial UEFA Champions League group game before West Bromwich Albion visit at the weekend in a match where Man United simply have to win after a slow and cumbersome October.
Herrera himself was scapegoated by van Gaal, much to the frustration of fans, but there are plenty of problems with United in attack right now that need to be resolved.
We didn't get the result that we were looking for but we have a crucial week with two games at old trafford
Away at Moscow, it was a perfectly placed Anthony Martial header which helped United avoid defeat but with only four points from their opening three group stage games, United really need to make sure they win all of their games at Old Trafford to stay in control of qualifying for the knockouts.
With no goals in over five hours of football, something has to change and if United don’t manage to secure three points against CSKA Moscow, the bubbling under-current of frustration among fans may begin to become ever so slightly more vocal.
